Hi kids,

For next time make the mini-conversations with the expressions from Chapter 1, from the booklet and from p. 45-46 do the exercise after Reading Chapter 2 and Before Reading Chapter 3.

Check this page and practice your writing - do the exercises below the text. Answer this question in writing: Where is the most interesting place you have travelled to? Did you send a postcard when you were there?

Check this other page and do the 2 exercises below the text. Answer this question in writing: What sports do you do in your school?

To improve your listening, listen to two friends talking about films and do the exercises below the video.

Next Friday is a holiday so see you on 9th June!

Hi kids,

You were so brave today during the Mock Test!

Informazioni per i genitori: nel calendario di esami che potete consultare qui Calendario esami CB, ce ne sono 2 possibile sessioni per KEY - il 22 giugno (KET for Schools) con chiusura di iscrizione 8 giugno, e il 24 giugno (KET) con chiusura di iscrizione 9 giugno. 
  Molto importante: chiedete alla reception quale sessione si aprirà - è improbabile che si apprano tutte e due.
La prossima volta, il 26 maggio, faremo lo Speaking e sapremo i risultati del secondo mock decisivi per raccomandarvi o no di iscrivere i ragazzi al esame.

Next time we'll do the Speaking part so here are some materials you can work on to revise and practice:

• for Part 1 practice and answer these questions on your notebooks. Write full, longer sentences.

For example, a full, longer answer can be:

"What kind of books or magazines do you like reading?" -  I like reading adventure stories because they are exciting and I always want to finish them in two days!

• for Part 2 write questions and asnwer the questions using these examples:

Today we did the Reading and Writing Mock, next time we'll do the Listening and Speaking. Good job today!

Next Friday it's Good Friday before Easter, so Giga Ih will be closed.
You homework for next next time 21st April is:

- learn using prepositions including when talking about holidays like Easter - watch the video and do the exercises under the text

- watch this amazing video about how Easter eggs are made

- as it's holiday and you have some free time, read this review about a fantastic book which was also made into a film! I saw the film - it was great!

Remember that next time we'll do the Key Mock Test - prova dell'esame, so please don't miss the lesson.

Your homework is to finish the Reading exercises from the photocopies I gave you in class (fate più che potete) - you can check them with the answers on the Yellow page after you do them! ;)
You can also work on the two exercises Writing Part 2 from the photocopies I gave you and use example B as a good example.
